Patterns and Corduroys

I've decided that I need more patterns in my wardrobe. I usually stick to basics when it comes to my outfits but I'm starting to get a little bored of it. Of course I loveeee to keep it simple with my outfits but a little pattern will do my wardrobe some good. While shopping with a friend, I came across this A-line top at H&M and fell in love. It's super soft and cheap, which makes me a happy happy girl. 

Not only that, I got a pair of corduroy pants. Whaaaa? Even my mom was shocked. I never liked wearing corduroy. Maybe it's because of the the feeling/material?? Anyways, I don't know how I convinced myself to get them but I did and it's seriously my new favorite thing to wear. If I could, I would wear them everyday!

    I loved corduroys when I was a kid, but haven't seen many lately, so I LOVE the pants :) I also enjoy how you used a pattern but still kept it simple - very class :)

    I'm in the same boat as you. I always end up sticking to basics, but if you have no good accessories to dress them up then they can get boring. I love your outfit, I want those shoes!
