Gray + White

Happy Monday, friends! Have you ever dressed for the wrong weather? Well, that was me. It's over 100 degrees outside and for some reason in my mind, I thought that jeans were a great idea. I was sooo wrong. On the bright side, my gray tee was a life savor. It's super light and flowy which is exactly what you need when it's burning outside. I also wasn't outside for very long so that's a plus too. ;)
If you know me, you would know that I am a HUGE sushi lover. I may or may not go every chance I get (which is a lot). My friend and I were lucky enough to find a sushi spot in the midst of the Texas heat and I couldn't be more thankful!

    Oh my gosh that sushi is amazing! I think I would've spent 20 mins just taking photos of it from every angle before actually eating it. I'm the same, I tend to want to wear sweaters when it's hot out, and then when it's cold I want to wear skirts!

    I love sushi too but haven't had any for so long and reading your post is making me crave for some. I can't imagine wearing jeans in the heat, I have been in shorts for the whole month no thanks to the crazy heatwave. LOL!

    I cannot tell you how often I do the same thing. I mean, I get dressed in A/C and think "dang I look good..." only to go outside and be completely sweating and inappropriately dressed. Oh well, at least you looked good and had a fantastic meal! Love the statement necklace!

    I do that ALL the time! Or I get used to A/C and then go somewhere with minimal A/C and die. Either way, I love this shirt and at least it's flowy, so if you sweat it isn't as noticeable! I promise I always think of these things in the heat!

    Aw I love this Sydney! Haha swooshy tops are the best, they're so comfortable and they're perfect in blazing hot weather. The color scheme is perfect (and I'm obsessed with those sandals). Oh my gosh, sushi is life and that sushi looks AMAZING. It's midnight right now and I'm DYING haha!

    aww syd i absolutely adore your style. like something i'd totally wear on daily basis! i can't seem to get enough of flowy tops like those. it's a staple piece isn't it? lol and i dress SO wrong for all sorts of weather ALL the time. like it was hitting 40c here in bangkok one day and i wore long jeans with black top on a day i had to be outdoor for hours. i swear you can even see it on my ig lol.
